(a) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

If the result is not as specified, replace the switch.

(b) Check the illumination operation. (1) Connect the positive (+) battery lead to terminal 7 (ILL+) and the negative (-) battery lead to terminal 6 (ILL-), then check that the illumination illuminates. OK: Illumination illuminates. If the illumination does not illuminate, replace the back door control switch. |
